This is a one year programme. The HNC year provides you with the core skills for technical work; include units relating to the Laboratory and Associated Technical Activities (LATA) Level 4 NVQ, providing basis skills needed for technical work such as quality control and laboratory management.
After the HNC you may progress onto the second year of the HND Programme to complete the HND Applied Biology course or finish with the HNC and go into employment.
