This four year programme is identical to the three year course, but has a foundation year with lower entry requirements.
If you have the ability but not the qualifications, an extended degree is the first step to graduation. This four-year programme is identical to the three-year degree, but includes a foundation year, and has a lower entry tariff. This programme will give you a detailed study of human health and disease, focusing on the pathogenesis (mechanism) of disease, diagnostic pathway and therapeutic intervention. It will prepare you for careers in medical diagnostic and research environments.
The foundation year is designed to give you:
Bachelor of Science (with Honours) - BSc (Hons)
