The Higher National Diploma (HND) includes a range of modules chosen to give learners a comprehensive understanding of business management functions. It is a practically based course which aims to expose students to a wide variety of projects and prepare them for a professional career in the industry.
The course will provide students with a solid foundation in a range of business disciplines such as Marketing Essentials, Human Resource Management, Management Accounting and Organisational Behaviour. It is comprised of both mandatory and option units, with the aim of allowing students to gain specialist knowledge in key areas of interest.
Students may wish to convert the BTEC HND into a full BA (Hons) Degree by completing the top up year which is available at Chichester College or other UK universities. Alternatively, the HND has a strong managerial focus which helps successful candidates to progress to senior roles and excellent career routes exist in a wide range of business settings
