This innovative programme is aimed at those who are looking to explore the functions of business (finance, human resources, leadership, marketing and management) and gain a broader understanding of how key institutions and national and world markets operate. As part of the course you will be given the opportunity to work on live briefs set by industry and may act as a business consultant recommending solutions to local businesses. As part of our work-ready guarantee, you will be offered the opportunity to undertake professional qualifications including PRINCE2® and ILM (at additional cost subject to awarding body registration and assessment fee). We will also support you to build a professional profile on networking sites. You may wish to enhance your career prospects by securing a voluntary work placement. This is not a mandatory requirement of the course but is recommended. Previous graduates have secured employment with True Potential, Gateshead Council, Tesco, Santander, NHS and Starbucks. Academic progression is also available via our BA (Hons) Business programmes.
