The Foundation Degree in Care Studies is a two-year, full-time Higher Education course designed to provide students with the opportunity to study a range of healthcare disciplines and builds an appropriate academic foundation and relevance in each subject area. The programme enables students to develop a range of graduate and expected employability skills which transfer to the world of work. The requisite work placement element of the programme gives opportunities for students to acquire practical skills and professional values within the diverse field of practice.
