The School of East Asian Studies at Sheffield is well known for its excellent language training. We teach Chinese from scratch, so you don’t need previous experience. You will be taught by native speakers in small groups. This intensive teaching is balanced with modules on China’s rich culture, its political influence, and its economy. You will spend your second year at Nanjing University, one of China’s best universities.
