The study of English and classics together allows you to explore the rich cultural influence that the classic Greek and Roman civilisations have had on modern societies, alongside an examination of the development of English language and literature to the present day. At Nottingham, you will explore a diverse range of modules covering literature, language, art, history, and drama, with the opportunity to study Greek or Latin languages from beginners’ level.
