This course aims to equip students with a thorough background to various aspects of economics, including microeconomics and macroeconomics, qualitative and mathematical research methods as well as to develop a deep knowledge of current global and national economic trends, institutions and policies, highlighting the link between theoretical aspects and real-world applications. You will be taught by staff who are actively engaged in extending subject boundaries through research, in particular within the fields of international trade, economic integration, macroeconomic policy, finance, banking and labour markets.
