Throughout the course you will develop a grounding in both the theory and practice of environmental resource management which will enable you to deal effectively with current and future issues. You will gain an overview of this complex subject area, including environmental science, energy, waste management and resource economics. You will develop an overview of wider issues through modules such as The Global Environment and Terrestrial Ecosystems. You will acquire specific industry required knowledge such as Environmental Management Systems. You will have a wide choice of elective subjects in order to choose your own area of specialism, including sustainability, marine environments, tourism, environmental policy and regulation, rural business diversification and ecological surveying.
