This intensive and exciting course has a strong production ethos and has been created in response to the demands of the South West Creative Industries to give you hands-on experience of the key aspects, roles and skills involved in film production. The course is taught by practising creative professionals with additional input from visiting lecturers who work across a diverse spectrum of roles. Students will work as an active crew member of our ‘in-house’ production company, with opportunities to collaborate with other disciplines and respond to live industrial briefs. There are opportunities for international projects, which in recent years have included residential visits to Berlin and Nantes. The course is in a great location with Bristol and Cardiff’s strong television and media production opportunities on the doorstep.
