The HND Journalism course is a hands on practical experience which will prepare you for the demands of a challenging yet hugely rewarding industry.
Journalists are no longer expected to just be able to write copy, nowadays they are required to write, film, edit and present their pieces across a range of platforms including print, TV, radio and web.
The course is designed to provide you with the practical skills which will enable you to become an asset to any news outlet.
The college has excellent links with local media providers such as the BBC as well as a strong working relationship with the University of Northampton who deliver the degree in Journalism. The college has a full working TV studio including Green Screen, as well as a fully functioning soundproofed radio studio. In addition, we have a large number of Mac suites which include all the software that is used within the industry today.
