The BA (Hons) Journalism course takes into account the rapidly developing news media landscape. It has been designed to train you in a variety of journalistic forms, including:
• video
• radio
• photojournalism.
Contemporary journalism has moved away from the traditional idea of print journalists writing stories that are published daily. The course offers a tailored and balanced approach, equipping you with the ability to not only produce written work but also be able to produce and edit video and audio material in addition to updating and moderating online content. The teaching on the course reflects the shift away from pre-existing and traditional methods and embraces current journalism practice.
