Swindon College are pleased to offer a 2 year Higher National Diploma in Product Design (ceramics). This is an excellent opportunity to develop, explore and extend your skills within the ceramics field. Designing through making will allow you to access ideas through an exploration of this unique material. The deep knowledge of the material will help you to appreciate the opportunities in ceramics but also its translation into other materials used for 3D Design. This course has been designed to offer a balance between focused specialist study and experimental mixed media approached. Ceramics has a unique visual language, which has echoed through the ages and across all cultures. As such it is intrinsic to people's lives, needs and memories. You will work through a series of design projects within the course to support you to become a confident designer
