This course is for anyone who wishes to enter into or work with one of the Public Services such as the Fire, Police, Royal Air Force and the Army. It is a natural progression from the BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma in Public Services and could potentially lead on to completing A HND in year two and a BA Honours degree in Public Service Management in year three. All delivery staff have significant experience within the Public Services or are subject area specialists. This course will consist of a number of mandatory units these are, small scale research projects in Public Services, Organisations and Behaviour, and Fair Treatment in Public Services. A number of optional units have been chosen that relate to Criminal Behaviour, the Justice System, Crime Reduction and Personal Outdoor Skills
