The BA (Hons) Film curriculum offers you the freedom to explore your own area of interest within the broad context of Film. Designed to enable you to be well placed to begin a career in film, TV or the wider creative and media industries this demanding course is delivered by academics with a wide range of relevant industry experience. You will be given the opportunity to combine academic investigation with industrial practice needs to fully develop your understanding of your chosen niche. The Photography department within Bradford School of Arts and Media is affiliated to the AOP (Association of Photographers) and continues to be sponsored by Light Phase camera technology. We also have a joint partnership with the National Media Museum. You will have the opportunity to learn from both practitioners and experienced professionals. You will work with artists and designers a well as local and national galleries, museums and exhibitions. The investigation, critical decision making and research skills you will acquire are planned in keeping with the versatility of the demands of the industry. It is intended that on completion of your final year, you should be fully equipped to meet the challenges and demands of the current employment market and have the necessary skills to meet a variety of current sector demands
